Running a sauna in London
London's sauna scene runs from riverside and dockside saunas to bathhouses under railway arches and pop-ups at lidos. Guests often book on their commute, at the last minute, and expect to pay with Apple Pay in a few taps.
Weekday evenings and weekend mornings fill first, while weekday afternoons are harder to sell. Time-of-day pricing and push notifications to nearby regulars help even that out. For groups, private hire for birthdays and team socials can be sold alongside social seats without any clashes.
What London saunas use Stoked for
- Peak and off-peak prices for evenings, weekends and quiet afternoons
- Private hire for team socials and birthdays alongside social seats
- Last-minute seats pushed to regulars who live and work nearby
- Memberships with credits for weekly visitors
How it works
Guests book on your own website in six steps: session, date, time, guests, extras and payment. They get a confirmation and a QR ticket straight away and a reminder on the morning of their session. You run the day from the back office, and your staff check guests in from the staff app.
When someone cancels, you can send the free seats to guests who asked for last-minute alerts, in one tap. Read more about filling last-minute seats, or see the full list of sauna booking software features.
Pricing
A flat monthly price with no commission per booking: bookings from £45 a month, or £150 a month for everything, excluding VAT. Payments go into your own Stripe account.
